I think many more people took the video but for now we will just have to settle with his video which I can say is a good quality video. For those of you who missed it, you can view it now! WOO HOO!

I was eagerly waiting for my friend Afiq who was the emcee to announce the winner for my category. He circled me, maybe trying to give me a hint or something. As soon as he opened his mouth, he announced the runner up of my category which was an indian girl in the afternoon session. Right after that, he looked at me and said, " Dj Jayden... *heart beating* YOU... ARE THE WINNER FOR THE OTHERS CATEGORY!!! " The whole school cheered for me and chanted my name. "Ken Jee! Ken Jee! KEN JEE!!! " I was filled with joy and relief at the same time because I have accomplished my goal and as JayZ said in his song with Linkin Park, Numb Encore - I came, I saw, I conquered!

Last night's Twelvean Unmasked was definitely a success story as there were no bad feedbacks from parents but only good ones. :) The whole night was just filled with wonderful performances, the crowd was great and the atmosphere just screamed , " Don't let this party stop!!! " There were about approximately 1000 people in the crowd including teachers last night. I could not even recognize most of my friends as all of them dressed to impress! But I pitty them too because they were not walking into an air-conditioned hall. Instead, they were walking into an open air compound with no aircond and with those little blood suckers who were just waiting for the buffet to start! Plus, the air yesterday was kinda humid. So you can imagine how much of tissue packets or even boxes were used by the crowd to wipe off their sweat.

My performance was scheduled to start at 8:47 but due to the regular long speeches given by the Principle and those big shots, my performance was delayed by about 15 minutes! But it gave me more time to perfect my routine in order to WOW the crowd. :D

I heard the chinese yoyo girl starting her performance and at that time, I was already starting to freak out because I knew that I was NEXT! After going through my entire routine for that night, I was ready. As soon as she performed her final stunt, Harvinth and Afiq introduced me to the crowd. But I don't think any introduction was necessary because as soon as I took the mic and started making the cricket sound... everyone knew who I was and I could even hear a few groups chanting, "Dj Jayden! Dj Jayden! Dj Jayden!" Haha!

I totally WOWed the crowed and blew the judges off their seats with my performance! The night continued with performances by NOVA, La Belle, Finz, an ex form 5 student, Vincent, etc. The closing act right before the winners were announced was by the one and only Ong Fu Ying who performed two songs. One of it was I LOVE ROCK & ROLL!!! The crowd went mad and everybody joined in the fun including teachers! HAHA!

All I can say is... 17 July 2010 has made its mark in the history of SMK USJ 12 as the most memorable night of the year or maybe even since the school was built!!! :D

Finals is near! No la... NOT EXAM! BEATBOX!!!

YO YO YO!!! Tomorrow is actually supposed to be my finals for the Twelvean Unmasked Talenet Show! But... since they're making the finals a grand occasion this saturday, I must perform again tomorrow to secure my place in the Grand Finals next week! The funny thing is that I actually won the competition for my category which is the "OTHERS" category, but since there were not enough contestants... they merged the dancing and others category. Due to the last elimination, I am the only remaining contestant from the "OTHERS" category. This means that tomorrow I must compete against the dancers and out of all the dancers including me, they're gonna choose two of the best performance to go the the finals! I hope i make it!!! If I do, I am gonna blow the crowd off their minds next week during finals! WOO HOO!!!

Oh ya... They're making banners for us performers too and it would be hung up on the walls throughout the entire school. These are the pictures that the photographer took on Thursday :

Fourian fair...

Yo! So last saturday, I went for the fourian fair at SMK USJ 4. My good friend Stephanie invited me to perform for their carnival about a week before the real date. The funny thing is that, at that time... I told her that i could go because I didn't want to disappoint her. I was scared to ask my mother about it because she specifically told me that the performance after the Hari Guru at my school will be my last performance ( excluding the twelvean talent show) .

So, thanks to my wonderful persuasion skills... I managed to talk her into letting me perform for their school carnival.

BUT... last thursday was my school's open day! OMG :O Everyone was like so scared because of what their parents would do if they found out that their child were such 'GOOD' students in school. I was not that worried because the only bad thing that my mother would notice is the marks on my report card. Thank God I told her about my marks before the open day unlike a few of my classmates who didn't tell till their parents found out on that day and you guys know what comes next lah. :P

The weird thing is my mum didn't really lecture me on that day but on friday, after i told her that I had RIMUP that evening... she terus naik angin!!! And she scolded, shouted and lectured me in the car about my marks and that I should not be performing anymore till SPM finishes. At the end of the lecture, my mum told me that I could not go for the RIMUP (CAPTAIN BALL) and my performance at SMK Usj 4 the next day. WTH?

I didn't know how to tell my friends about this but I had to tell them eventually. As soon as i got back home, I called Stephanie and Harvinth to tell them bout the whole incident. They were like, "you got to make it man! You have to ask your mum or beg her to let you go!" I told them that I would give them an answer the next day.

The next day my friends bugged me from the minute I woke up from bed a till after lunch. I couldn't give them an answer because my mum was still in a foul mood. Until the 11th hour, my dad suddenly said, " Get ready now. We're gonna leave in 10 minutes" LOL! In the end I managed to perform and I had a fun time at the Fourian Fair :)
