Bad luck or Careless ?

WTH!!! I was at my regular 8 t0 10 basketball training in school on the 17th of march. I actually didn't feel like going for training that day because i wanted to sleep longer and take my time to prepare for an outing with my friends instead. i was actually looking forward to the outing with my friends the next day. sigh... but here's the bad news... the coach asked us to play 5 on 5 and also to practice the sets that he gave us. i was actually quite pumped up to play and show him what i can do. and so... i gave the training a 100%. my team won the first team and so we had to stay on to play with the second team. I wasn't even feeling tired at that time...

But... after stealing our opponents ball my teammate made a fast break and i tailed him from behind in case he missed the ball. Two of my opponent's teammate marked him and prevented him from shooting and so he passed the ball to me. it was a high ball and i had to jump for it. As soon as i landed, i could hear a 'crack" sound and i couldn't feel my left leg. Immediately, i fell to the ground and at that moment, i knew that was in DEEP SHIT!

My friends quickly approached me and asked me if i was okay? i couldn't feel any pain at that time but i knew that a few moments ago, i landed like this and i sprained my ankle. i tried to get up and walk but my leg was not responding to the instructions that my brain gave. The coach asked my friends to pull me up slowly and bring me to him. he asked me to put my left leg on the bench while i sit on the floor to prevent the blood from clotting at the injured area and thus making it swollen. he also asked one of my teammate to go and buy ice from the nearby coffee shop to stop the swelling. In my mind, i was like " is this a dream? if it's not ,i'm definitely in trouble this time. " i waited for another 30 minutes till my mother came and picked me up from the school. We immediately went to the chiropractor in tai pan.

The 1 hour and 30 minutes in the chinese clinic in tai pan could be one of the most suffering moments of my life. the doctor did an x-ray on my leg to see whether it was fractured or not. Thank god I just sprained it but it was quite a serious case because i jumped quite high for the ball. the doctor tried to straighten my leg and to fix my sprained ankle but my ankle was already swollen to the size of a tennis ball. So... the doctor had to use a needle to poke the swollen area and he used a type of suction cup to suck out the blood clot. He had to do it for about 30 to 40 times( not exaggerating) and i was in agony. For a person who has been poked by dozens of needles before ,whether it's taking injection or going for accupunctre treatments, the pain was unbearable and excruciating.

I had to do it again the following day which was yesterday. and i the doctor had to suck out the blood clot again. this time... i screamed my lungs out. i think i scared the other patients who were waiting outside. HAHAHA . After the treatment, i had to buy crutches from ss 15 . And now i'm officially on crutches. NOT AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE THOUGH!!! :(

Because of my sprained ankle, i can't perform my beatboxing in genting anymore which was scheduled to happen tomorrow on the 20th . Sigh... i don't even know whether i would be able to play for my team in the districts competition ( MSSD)for basketball which is in 3 weeks time. WHAT TO DO???

Disappointment!

Sigh... on the 1st and the 8th of March... i represented my school for the district competition in javelin throwing and shotputt. The stupid thing is that, in school( during training) i threw the javelin at a distance of 36 meters and i was quite sure that i could do better in the district competition (MSSD) because... since it was my first time competing in the district competition, my teammate told me that... everyone would do better in mssd due to the fire burning inside and also the atmosphere in the stadium is different from the atmosphere at my school field. BUT... i guess i was feeling quite pressured and also i cared too much about not fouling rather than focussing on how far my javelin would go. so in the end my furthest throw was 26 meters and that was the only throw that was not disqualified out of all the 3 throws. The same thing happened for my shotputt. WTF!!! Anyway... i still managed to take a few pictures before the competition began.

arrhhh!!!

OMG!! today i had two trainings in a row. first was basketball practice from 8 to 10 and athletics training from 10 to 12( but i went back at 11.15) i chose to wear my athletic singlet for basketball practice cause lately the weather has been pretty unpredictable and kinda hot. ( and also cause i want to show of some muscle lah. hehe :P ) thank god it wasn't so hot this morning as the skies were gloomy indicating that it will rain soon. but at around 9.30... the sun came out and immediately the atmosphere was illuminated by it's bright rays and the surrounding temperature also rose by a few degree celcius.

With determination, i walked a distance of approximately 2 km to the MPSJ stadium where my fellow teammates of the athletic club were busy doing their warm ups and drills. At 11.15 my mum picked me up from MPSJ and we headed back home. i had to go back early because i had piano lessons at 12.

The funny thing is that, when i took out my singlet i noticed the different tones of colours on my skin. my hand was darker than my shoulders and the part of my neck which was exposed to the sun was also dark in colour. my face was dark. i was like comparing it with my body colour which was not exposed to the sun. I'm now like a chinese with a malay face and indian hands. Wow... one malaysia man!!! ;)

leo concert!!!

SO last saturday... i was invited to perform at this charity concert for breast cancer at taylor's college which was organised by the petaling jaya leo club... I reached the college at 12 for a last minute rehearsal. I was actually supposed to rehearse on friday but i was too tired.

Anyway... i performed together with harvinth. we performed 3 songs. the first song was fantasy girls by caprice followed by snoop dog's drop it like it'shot and the last song was written by harvinth while i thought of the melody. Eventhough the rap was okay, but my beatbox kinda sucked because the dj lowered the volume for my mic, resulting in a performance with less bass and impact. But... i didn't care about my collaboration with harvinth because i knew that my solo performance would WOW the crowd. so after the 3 songs, i did my beatbox solo for like about 5 minutes and i made the crowd go wild (haha, biasalah... DJ Jayden in the house mah) :P
there were other performances on that day which was kinda cool but unfortunately i don't have the pictures with me... oh well, now i will just let the pictures do the talking. :D

DJ JAYDEN!!!

Harvinth and i collaborating :D

( in my head i was like... " hey dude shine the spotlight on me too!!! I'm DJ JAYDEN u know!!)
hahahahaha :P

in the end he did ( i think he read my mind)
